Instead of a typical program, we are having some special activities during the meeting. We will be having our Strips Challenge Show & Share, our Favorite Things Swap, and a special presentation by the Quilt Show Committee.
REMINDERS
Stripes Challenge - The STL MQG 2025 Stripe Challenge is coming to end. Remember to bring your entries and be prepared to share your artist statements. More info here.
Favorite Things Swap - It’s time to share your favorite quilty things with the guild. Place one item in a paper bag with your name. The item should not exceed $10.00.
Epworth Charity Raffle - Remember to purchase your tickets for the Epwortth Charity Raffle. Prizes include a Janome 2030DC-G sewing machine (donated by Warm n Cozy), a Big Shot Plus with extra dies (donated by Suzanne Domalewski), and a Martelli Ergonomic Machine Tilt Platform (donated by Dottie Vaughn). Block Lotto - Remember to bring your blocks for this month's block lotto. There will be a drawing for a group of squares. The number of squares will determine how many winners will be selected. You will get one ticket for each square that you bring. More info here.
Free Table - Got quilting stuff that you no longer want? Bring it for the Free Table. Please, only quilty/crafty/sewing stuff and try to keep it modern. Anything left behind will be pitched at the end of the meeting.
Attendance Prizes - Wear your handmade name tag for an attendance prize raffle ticket.
Show & Share - The best part of the meeting is Show and Share; bring your projects to show off, we want to see them.
Raffle Time - Please note, that the online site that manages our raffles gets really busy during break time. Save yourself some aggravation and buy your tickets ahead of time. Did you know that we use the raffle proceeds to help for the monthly room rental?
This month’s bundles are Olive Grove by Amber Elliot from Riley Blake Designs! We are mixing it up this month. Each bundle is 3 1-yard cuts of fabric. The first winner will get to decide which of the two bundles they want.
